Anaheim MCI Crash - March 18th, 2017

At 10:51 p.m. Saturday night, Anaheim FD responded to a reported MCI crash near the intersection of Magnolia and Lincoln. Crews arriving located a five-vehicle collision with numerous patients. At least eleven people, including three children, were treated for injuries ranging from mild to moderate. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation however initial witness reports indicate the driver of a grey Mercedes sedan sped through the parking lot of an apartment complex before crashing through it’s gate, pushing the gate into traffic on Magnolia. Several witnesses on scene also indicated the driver of the Mercedes left the vehicle, returning to the apartment complex before coming out again. Magnolia from Lincoln to Crescent was closed in all directions approximately two hours. Anaheim PD will be handling the investigation.
