Emerald Bay Cliffhanger Wall Fire - January 23rd, 2017

At approximately 2:30 AM Monday morning firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority and surrounding agencies responded to reports of a structure fire in Emerald Bay in the 100 block of Bay Crest. Firefighters on scene found a 4 story cliffhanger estate with a fire burning within the walls of residence around a gas fireplace. Firefighter initiated a fire attack knocking the fire down quickly once its location was isolated. In total two residences were displaced and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
