Irvine Burglary - November 18th, 2016
At approximately 1:00 PM on Friday, November 18th, 2016 officers from the Irvine Police Department responded to a reported residential burglary interrupted at 3671 Carmel in the Walnut Square area of Irvine, CA.
Upon arrival, officers were able to arrest one male hispanic. Assistance from an airship was requested and Angel (Anaheim's Police Helicopter) responded to assist with a perimeter. Additionally, a second K9 unit was requested from the Newport Beach Police Department.
As of approximately 1:30 PM a second male hispanic was still outstanding. It is unknown if the subject is armed and there is no further information available at this time.
The Irvine Police Department will be conducting an investigation.
