Irvine Fire Station 20 Grand Opening - July 19th, 2018
The Orange County Fire Authority celebrated the opening of a new fire station in Irvine. Station 20 is located near the Great Park and will serve citizens in Irvine.
The new state-of-the-art facility has replaced the temporary station that has served the citizens of Irvine for many years. The new station sits on the land of the former Marine Corps Air Station El Toro Officer’s Club. The station is staffed with a four-person paramedic engine company (Engine 20), a four-person truck company (Truck 20) and a battalion chief (Battalion 10). Additionally, the station houses one of two OCFA Hazardous Materials Response Teams.
