Irvine Trash Truck Fire - February 2nd, 2017
At 4:50 PM the Orange County Fire Authority responded to reports of a trash truck fire in the area of Springflower and Shadowleaf in Irvine. Crews arriving on scene located a Waste Management recycling truck with a small fire in the trash bay. With the assistance of the driver, firefighters dumped the truck's load into a residential cul-de-sac at the end of Sprinflower where the small blaze was fully extinguished.
A Waste Management team is responding to remove the dumped debris by hand and an investigation is ongoing.
