Jamboree and Barranca 4 Car TC - September 5th, 2016
At approximately 4:30 PM on September 5th, 2016 first responders received reports of an expanded traffic collision at Jamboree and Barranca in the city of Irvine, CA. Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) Battalion 5, Engine 6, Truck 6, Patrol 26 and a Care Ambulance (Unit 6499) along with the Tustin and Irvine Police departments all responded to the intersection to find a four vehicle traffic collision involving a Red Dodge Neon, Silver Hyundai SUV, White Audi Sedan, and a Grey Toyota Prius-C. Witness reports indicated that one of the vehicles involved had ran a red light resulting in the collision.
At least one young pre-teen victim was transported via Care Ambulance and two other pre-teens (one female, one male) were treated on scene by OCFA. Another approximately 40 year old male received lacerations to the face, possibly from broken glass.
