Lake Forest Car & Gas Pump Fire - January 8th, 2017

At approximately 7:43 PM the Orange County Fire Authority responded to reports of a working structure fire at the USA Gas Station located at 23852 El Toro Road. Engines arriving on scene found a solo black Mercedes sedan into a gas pump which had been sheered from the ground. Both the vehicle and pump had caught fire causing firefighters to make an aggressive attack on the fire resulting in a swift knockdown. The driver of the vehicle and its passenger stayed on scene and cooperated authorities.

An investigation is ongoing and the gas station was closed until further notice.
