Tustin CR&R Truck Refuse Fire - February 14th, 2017

At approximately 9:03 AM the Orange County Fire Authority responded to reports of a refuse fire in the area of 1382 Bell Ave. in Tustin. Crews arriving on scene found a CR&R recycling truck with smoke and fire showing from the trash receptacle to the rear and instructed the driver to dump the load in a nearby parking lot. Once dumped firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and returned control of the scene to CR&R for cleanup and removal.

No injuries were reported and foul play is not suspected.
